From Peaches to the Beaches
Flea Market Shopping A Success
Is it trash or is it a treasure? Is it a vase or a rare collectible? That's what many flea market shoppers were asking themselves as they traveled along Georgia's Golden Isles Highway stopping along the way to hunt for treasures and bargains galore. The McRae Marketplace - Antique Mall and Flea Market was no exception. Hundreds of flea market shoppers enjoyed the thrill of shopping with vendors set up outdoors with a wide variety of wares. On the inside, shoppers were busy looking for all sorts of items. According to some shoppers, they just looked for rare glassware whereas some indicated they were just looking for bargains of any kind. There were some shoppers that brought trucks and trailors just hoping to load up on pieces of antique furniture. There was certainly a great deal of excitement in the air despite the cloudly skies and occasions showers of rain. As for the owers of the Marketplace, they deemed the two days of March 12-13 a successful event and are now looking forward to another exciting event planned this fall on November 5-6, 2010.
